During the renovation of the Hunkemöller store in Almere, we completely modified and expanded the existing electrical installation. The focus was on a reliable technical foundation for the renewed store layout, with attention to lighting, data, audiovisual applications, and power and lighting supplies.

Data infrastructure ready for the modern retail environment
For the renovated store, we realized a complete expansion of the data and network infrastructure. 25 CAT6A data connections were installed, including a new IT rack, final assembly, and full certification.
After installation, all connections were tested and certified using Fluke measuring equipment. This demonstrates that the network infrastructure is suitable for the various IT and retail applications within the store.
Lighting that supports the store concept
An important part of the installation is the new store lighting. We installed 91 meters of 3-phase track lighting with 95 high-quality LED track spotlights, supplemented with mirror lighting, pendant lights, and emergency lighting.
The various lighting elements are tailored to the layout and appearance of the renovated store, where functional lighting as well as atmosphere and presentation play an important role.
Smart reuse of existing technology
Not everything had to be reinstalled. The existing distribution system was reused and optimized for the renewed installation. By retaining existing technology where possible and making targeted adjustments, the electrical installation was efficiently prepared for the new store layout.
The installation features clear labeling and is fully documented with revision drawings (As-Built) and handover documentation. In this way, not only has the store been technically renewed, but the foundation has also been laid for future management and maintenance.
